Content is king

All other SEO tasks, such as technical optimization, brand building, etc., will bring you relatively little benefit if your target audience sees no value in the information you deliver. Content is the be-all and end-all.

Google can see relatively accurately how satisfied users are by analyzing a lot of data. Google does not need cookies for this. This data can also be obtained, for example, through the use of the Chromes browser or through movement profiles of smartphone users.

Due to the large amount of data and many Google patents, search engines have become very good at taking user behavior into account in the ranking.

Also, keep in mind that you're not the only one trying to improve your content - your competitors are doing a lot to evolve as well.

Achieving a good ranking in search results is an interplay of many different building blocks - the foundation for this is provided by your trustworthiness and the quality of your information. The more that is known about your qualifications, the more likely you are to be seen as a "professional" - and the more comprehensive and understandable your content is, the more likely your users are to agree with your page. And that agreement can look very different - placing an order, making an appointment with you, sending an email inquiry, etc.

Never optimize for search engines, but for your target audience!
